The team placed second overall in the district and advanced a total of 10 individual students to Region in all five speaking events. Individuals advancing to Region are Serena Gutierrez, Brooke Valdiviez, Michael Roberts, Jason Zertuche, Celeste Ramirez, Alicia Casas, Joshua Dominguez, Christian Ferniz and advancing in two events is freshman Nicholas Quintero. 

The UIL Academics Region meet will take at UTSA on April 7. Good luck, Cowboys!
